Honey Barbecue Meatloaf

This meatloaf is delicious. You can choose to make it with whatever type of meat you’d like. It is perfect for kids. Bake it as one giant loaf or bake it as two smaller loafs.

Ingredients
  1. 1 pound ground turkey
  2. ½ cup plain GF panko bread crumbs
  3. 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  4. 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  5. 4 tablespoons smoky barbecue sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon honey
  7. ½ teaspoon salt
  8. ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, use your hands to mix together the ground turkey, panko, 1 tablespoon of the worcestershire sauce, the mustard, 3 tablespoons of the barbecue sauce, the salt, and pepper. Do not overwork the meat.
  3. Shape the mixture into a long, thick log and place in an oiled baking dish. Be careful not to pack the meat too tightly or you'll end up with a very dense, tough loaf.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce, the remaining 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce, and the honey.
  5. Spread evenly over the meatloaf bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Slice and serve!
