Homemade Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni

This was delicious and so much healthier than the store bought one. I had to make two separate ones because I used dairy free cheese for mine. This dish is very simple to make and is super filling!

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/4 Pounds of ground turkey (You can use beef)
  2. 3 Cups of coconut milk (Or milk of choice)
  3. 1 3/4 Cups of gluten free macaroni (Whole wheat or regular all work)
  4. 1 Tablespoon of cornstarch
  5. 2 Teaspoons of paprika
  6. 1 1/2 Teaspoons of garlic powder
  7. 1 1/4 Teaspoons of onion powder
  8. 1/2 – 1 Teaspoon of salt
  9. 1 1/4 Cup of cheddar cheese, shredded (I used daiya dairy free cheddar for mine)

Instructions
  1. In a large frying pan, cook the meat until almost browned. If there's a lot of liquid, drain it
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan, except for the cheddar cheese, and stir until well combined
  3. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10-20 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Stir in the cheese until well mixed in. If you want it thicker let is cook for about 5 minutes while stirring
